From being Suicidal to feeling Significant
suicidal → stable → sustaining → significant
Dillon Gazandlare is a young Indigenous person from a northern Saskatchewan reservation. He felt isolated, depressed and suicidal.
Then one thing changed his trajectory.
The Robb Nash Project held a concert in his community. Robb’s message of hope and help resonated with Dillon and reminded him that he had the strength inside himself to keep going.
He was inspired. So day by day as he sought help, the darkness lifted and he threw away his suicide book, one page at a time. Despite being a below the elbow amputee, Dillon overcame his disabling self doubt and learned to play the guitar...and boy did he learn!
Dillon joined The Robb Nash Project on stage for the first time in 2023, demonstrating his extraordinary guitar skills. He inspired audiences full of young people.
His story is being shared with thousands of young people across Canada with the hopes that it will help others discover their own paths to wellness.
