How we OVERCOME

Working together with our Action Advisory council and our charity partners, we can Overcome adversity and positively impact future outcomes.

How Operation Overcome will foster change.

Working collaboratively with an advisory council of mental health experts and advocates, we’ll work with charities and donors to ensure resources are

available to young people who need them while maximizing donor dollars.

Operation Overcome focuses on three pillars.

1

Promoting Knowledge & Awareness

Resilience among young people, helping them get back up when life knocks them down.

Creating accessible learning resources that equip both youth and adults with the knowledge and skills required to explore their own emotional well-being and reach out to seek help, or support others.

2

Surrounding with Specialized Services

Ensuring that quality, timely specialized services (counseling for grief, addiction, bullying, eating disorders, and all forms of self-harm) are both available and accessible (affordable)to young people and their families when most needed.

3

Building a Powerful Community of Support

Creating opportunity for young people to form meaningful connections with people around them, from their families and friends to neighbours and school communities. Whether based on sport or faith or music or social purpose, community groups play a critical role in overcoming isolation and helping young people feel connected and significant.

When the right people work together...Transformation Happens

Donors want to trust that their funds are having a meaningful impact on the mental health and well being of youth in Canada.

The Mission of the Action Advisory is to evaluate and recommend Canadian charities making significant contributions to youth mental health.

The Robb Nash Project is assembling an army of experts to advise on charities and resources creating positive and measurable transformations with youth.
